Anu Oil

Anu Oil is a classical polyherbal Ayurvedic formulation extensively used for Nasya Karma (nasal administration). Prepared using a decoction of herbs such as Devadaru, Twak, Usheer, Anantmoola, Swet Chandana, Daruharidra, Musta, Yashtimadhu, and Aguru, infused in a base of medicated sesame oil, Anu Taila is indicated for strengthening the organs above the clavicle (Urdhva Jatrugata Vikaras). It helps in clearing sinuses, improving mental clarity, enhancing sensory perception, and maintaining respiratory and neurological health.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS & MECHANISM:

  Devadaru, Daruharidra, and Musta exhibit Shwasa-Kasa hara (anti-respiratory disorder) and Kaphahara (mucolytic) properties, clearing nasal obstruction and sinuses.

  Yashtimadhu, Aguru, and Anantmoola act as nervine tonics, enhancing cognitive function, memory, and sensory acuity.
