Dadimastaka Powder is a classical Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation renowned for its potent digestive, carminative, and appetite-stimulating actions.
Centered around Dadima (Punica granatum – Pomegranate), it is blended with aromatic spices and soothing agents that harmonize digestive function and relieve common gastrointestinal complaints such as indigestion, flatulence, acid reflux, and appetite loss.
It primarily pacifies Vata and Kapha doshas, while mildly increasing Agni (digestive fire), making it ideal for use in chronic digestive weaknesses and post-infective digestive restoration.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS & MECHANISMS:
- Appetite Stimulant: Dadima and Bruhata Ela improve Agni and appetite.
- Carminative: Hingu and Saindhava Lavana help expel gas and reduce bloating.
- Digestive Stimulant: Marich and Shweta Jiraka increase secretion of digestive enzymes.
- Gut Soother: Mishri and Nimbu Satva provide a cooling and pH-balancing effect.
- Metabolism Booster: Bruhata Ela improves nutrient absorption and gut motility.
- Antacid: Nimbu Satva and Dadima help neutralize excess stomach acid.
- Kapha-Regulating: The combination prevents sluggish digestion and mucus accumulation.
