AYURVEDIC DESCRIPTION:

Guduchi, known as Amrita in Ayurveda, is classified under Rasayana (rejuvenatives) and Deepana- Pachana (digestive stimulants). It strengthens Ojas (vital energy), improving immunity and disease resistance. It is a powerful Medhya (brain tonic) that enhances cognitive function and mental clarity. Guduchi is used in treating Jwara (fevers), Kamala (jaundice), Prameha (diabetes), Kushta (skin diseases), and Vata-Pitta disorders due to its cooling yet nourishing properties.

CLIMATE & REGION:

Guduchi thrives in tropical and subtropical regions and is found across India, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. It grows in forests, near riverbanks, and dry deciduous regions, particularly in Central and South India. The plant climbs on large trees, preferably Neem (Azadirachta indica), which enhances its medicinal potency.
