Jatamansi, also known as Tapasvini, Bhutajata, or Mansi, is a revered Medhya Rasayana (brain tonic) in Ayurveda. This Sattvic herb supports mental clarity, balances emotions, and promotes spiritual elevation.
With Tikta (bitter) and Kashaya (astringent) Rasa, Laghu (light) and Snigdha (unctuous) Guna, Sheeta (cooling) Virya, and Madhura (sweet) Vipaka, Jatamansi is especially effective in pacifying Vata and Pitta doshas.
