Kottamchukkadi Powder

Kottamchukkadi Churna is a traditional Ayurvedic formulation well-known for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and circulation-enhancing properties.
It is especially beneficial in Vata-Kapha disorders affecting the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, including arthritis, muscle stiffness, and nerve-related pain.

It is used both externally and internally, depending on the condition, to relieve pain, reduce swelling, and support joint mobility by detoxifying accumulated Ama and enhancing Agni at the tissue level.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

·         Internal Use: 1–3 grams with warm water, milk, or honey after meals, or as directed by a physician

·         External Use: Prepare a paste with warm water or oil and apply over affected joints for Upanaha, Lepa, or local massage

Adjuvants:

·         With warm water – for general Vata disorders

·         With milk – for nerve pain and rejuvenation

·         With sesame oil – as external application for pain and stiffness

CONTRAINDICATIONS & PRECAUTIONS

·         Avoid in high Pitta conditions (gastritis, ulcers, hyperacidity)

·         Not recommended during pregnancy unless advised by a qualified Ayurvedic physician
