DESCRIPTION:

Kottamchukkadi Powder is a traditional Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for managing joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation. It is a potent combination of herbs with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and muscle-relaxing properties. PHARMACOLOGY:

● Anti-inflammatory—Kushtam, Devadaru, and Rasna reduce inflammation in joints and muscles.
● Analgesic—Sunthi and Lashunam relieve pain and stiffness.
● Circulatory stimulant—Sarshapa and Shigru improve blood circulation and warm the joints.
● Detoxifying – Vacha and Kartotti help eliminate Ama (toxic waste) from the system.
● Nerve relaxant – Vacha and Kushtam calm the nervous system and relieve nerve pain.
● Muscle relaxant – Rasna and Devadaru ease muscle stiffness and promote mobility.
● Vata-Pacifying – Sunthi and Devadaru balance Vata dosha, reducing dryness and pain.

DOSAGE:

External Use: Can be made into a paste with warm water or oil and applied to affected areas.
Internal Use: 1-3 grams with warm water, milk, or honey as prescribed by an Ayurvedic physician.

CONTRADICTION:

● Avoid in high Pitta conditions like ulcers and severe gastritis.
● Not recommended for pregnant women unless advised by a physician.
● People with sensitive digestion should use it cautiously in high doses.
