Nirgundi (Vitex negundo) is a renowned Ayurvedic herb that pacifies Vata and Kapha doshas. It is celebrated for its deep tissue penetration, pain-relieving effect, and ability to reduce swelling and stiffness.
The oil prepared from Nirgundi leaves promotes nerve relaxation, muscle tone, and joint flexibility, making it ideal for chronic neuromuscular conditions, inflammation, and degenerative disorders.

Nirgundi thrives in tropical and subtropical zones of India, particularly in moist riverine and well-drained loamy soils.
