DESCRIPTION:

Shatpatradhi Churna is a classical Ayurvedic formulation known for its soothing, cooling, and digestive-enhancing properties. It contains two powerful ingredients: Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra, licorice) and Mishreya (Foeniculum vulgare, fennel). This combination is highly effective in treating hyperacidity, gastritis, ulcers, cough, sore throat, and digestive issues. It is a well-known Pitta-balancing formulation
with mild demulcent, anti-inflammatory, and digestive stimulant properties.

INDICATIONS :

● It may be used for hyperacidity, indigestion, constipation, piles, anorexia, and urinary retention.
● Lower GI Detoxifier.
● Increases appetite and energy.
● Relieves constipation and hyperacidity.

PHARMACOLOGY:

● Demulcent & Mucoprotective—Yashtimadhu protects the gastric lining.
● Digestive Stimulant—Mishreya enhances digestive enzyme secretion.
● Carminative & Anti-flatulent—Prevents bloating and relieves gas.
● Antacid & Anti-ulcerogenic—Reduces acidity and heals ulcers.

INGREDIENTS:

Each package contains 4 Oz / 114 gm.

  • Yastimadhu (Glycerrhiza glabra)
  • Mishreya (Foeniculum vulgare)

PROPERTIES:

  • Rasa: Madhura (Sweet)
  • Guna: Guru (Heavy), Snigdha (Unctuous)
  • Veerya: Sheeta (Cold)
  • Vipaka: Madhura (Sweet)

DOSAGE:

1-3 grams twice daily after meals with warm water, honey, or milk.
Can be taken with honey for respiratory issues or milk for gastritis.

CONTRADICTION:

● Avoid in diabetes (Yashtimadhu may increase blood sugar levels).
● Not suitable for individuals with high Kapha dominance (excess mucus production).
● Excessive use may lead to water retention and increased blood pressure.

Mishreya (Fennel)—Cultivated in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
