DESCRIPTION:
Sitopaladi Churna is a classical Ayurvedic formulation composed of Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Ela (Elettaria cardamomum), Pippali (Piper longum), Foeniculum vulgare (Saunf/Fennel), and Vamshalochana (Bamboo silica). It is widely used as a natural expectorant, bronchodilator, and digestive stimulant. PROPERTIES :
● Rasa: Madhura (Sweet), Katu (Pungent)
● Guna: Laghu (Light), Snigdha (Unctuous)
● Veerya: Ushna (Hot)
● Vipaka: Madhura (Sweet)
DOSAGE :
1-3 grams twice daily with honey or warm water or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician.
It can be taken with honey for cough and respiratory issues or warm water for digestion.
CONTRADICTION :
● Not recommended in high Pitta conditions (acid reflux, gastritis, or ulcers).
● Diabetics should use with caution due to the natural sweetness of the formulation.
● Pregnant women should consult a physician before use.

Dalchini (cinnamon) is grown in the tropical forests of Sri Lanka, India, and Indonesia.
Ela (cardamom) is cultivated in humid tropical regions of South India and Sri Lanka.
Pippali (long pepper) is found in the warm, humid climates of Bengal, Assam, and South India. Foeniculum vulgare (fennel) thrives in temperate regions of North India and the Mediterranean. Vamshalochana (bamboo silica) is obtained from bamboo plants in tropical and subtropical forests.
