DESCRIPTION:

Talisadi Churna is a classical Ayurvedic formulation containing Talisapatra (Abies webbiana), Ela (cardamom), Pippali (Piper longum), Vamshalochana (bamboo silica), and Sharkara (Sugar). It is a highly effective expectorant, bronchodilator, and digestive tonic. This herbal powder is widely used in Ayurveda for respiratory and digestive disorders, helping to relieve cough, cold, asthma, and indigestion by balancing Kapha and Vata doshas.

INGREDIENTS :

Each package contains (4 Oz / 114 Gm)

  • Talisapatra (Abies webbiana)
  • Ela (Elettaria cardamomum)
  • Pippali (Piper longum)
  • Vanshalochan (Bambusa bambos)
  • Twak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)

PROPERTIES :

● Rasa: Katu (Pungent), Madhura (Sweet)
● Guna: Laghu (Light), Snigdha (Unctuous)
● Veerya: Ushna (Hot)
● Vipaka: Madhura (Sweet)

DOSAGE :

1–3 grams twice daily with warm water or honey, or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician.
Can be taken with honey for cough and respiratory issues or warm water for digestion.

CONTRADICTION :

● Not recommended in high Pitta conditions (acid reflux, gastritis, or ulcers).
● Diabetics should use it with caution due to the presence of sugar.
● Pregnant women should consult a physician before use.

Pippali is cultivated in humid, warm climates like Bengal, Assam, and South India.
Vamshalochana is obtained from bamboo species in tropical and subtropical forests.
